Maqam committee has set up full-fledged facilities for countless pilgrims who arrive at Mampuram per day.
Men and women are required to enter Maqam and perform subsequent rituals using divergent locations specified for both. Taking the increased number of non-muslim pilgrims into consideration, special facilities meant for their rituals have been set up as well. The committee has two large mosques situated adjacent to Maqam premises inorder to facilitate the five- time prayer for male pilgrims showing up in multitudes each day. Another special location in close proximity to Maqam has been facilitated for women to offer prayer and meet their primary requirements. A special counter operates in front of Maqam for enquiries and receiving donations and offerings.
Maqam committee has taken special care of numerous vehicles escorting pilgrims to Maqam premises by setting up vast parking locations and has several Cctv cameras operating in the whole area in view of the safety of pilgrims and Maqam alike.
Both Maqam premises and adjacent towns have many private lodges, inorder for pilgrims from far-flung areas to reside in as long as they wish to.
